This one's way more vibrant than my usual. A sockeye salmon with PNW accompaniment.

With a feather as your canvas, do you have to seal it first, before you apply the acrylics?
I do give it alight coat of acrylic spray, which is about like hair spray. It's more to deter hungry bugs than to stiffen the feather though.
